- Preclinical (biomarker changes, no symptoms): Individuals have Alzheimer’s pathology detected by biomarkers but no clinical symptoms.
- Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI): Detectable cognitive deficits but not severe enough for dementia diagnosis.
- Dementia due to Alzheimer’s: Full clinical syndrome with significant impairment in daily function.
