Systolic and Diasolic Blood pressure measurements have traditionally been performed by Inflatable Cuff based procedures. However, new non-invasive methods have been developed which provide assessment of arterial blood pressure through cuffless methods. These solutions utilize pulse transit time, pulse wave velocity, radar, doppler-blood flow, echography, ECG and/or photoplethysmography to calculate systolic arterial blood pressure or central mean arterial blood pressure.
